The core major in psychology covers foundational units in psychology and research methods which provide a strong base for units covered in the specialist major. Students are also introduced to Indigenous and Cultural psychology, providing the groundwork for embedding this content throughout the specialist major. Professional units provide students with an introduction to the profession of psychology and to the many career and study opportunities available to psychology graduates. In addition, students have the opportunity to work in a number of settings, providing real-world experiences.
