A message for patients of Dr Meg Ryan
We would like to inform our patients that Dr. Ryan will be leaving our practice as she is relocating. Dr. Ryan's last day with us will be on the 10th December 2024.
We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all of Dr. Ryan's patients. Our team will work closely with you to coordinate continued care with our other practitioners.

Opening hours
The UC Medical & Counselling Centre is open Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm).
We are closed on public holidays and for the University shut down period.
Tests and Results
Your doctor may order tests or refer you to a specialist.
It would be expected that these referrals will be completed.
If you choose not to have these tests or see the specialist you have been referred to, we strongly advise that you speak to your doctor at the UC Medical Centre.
Failure to complete any referrals MAY HAVE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT on your health.
IHI Numbers
To have your vaccinations for clinical placement uploaded to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR), you will need an IHI (Individual Healthcare Identifier) number. (Your IHI number will be 16 digits long).

Reporting an incident
If you have experienced any form of violence or harassment, we encourage you to reach out to UC Medical & Counselling. Our Doctors, Psychologists and Nurses can support you in your decision to report an incident.
Compliments/Complaints
Should you wish to make any compliments or offer any suggestions as to how we can improve our services, please call our Director, Dr Jenny Weekes on 6201 2351.
You can also complete our Suggestion/ feedback form and email it to UCMCC@canberra.edu.au. If you are satisfied or dissatisfied with any aspect of the care that you have received at this Centre please let Dr Weekes know.
If your concerns are not resolved you can then contact the Health Services Commissioner by phoning 6205 2222.
Please note: Private patients (non UC students) may be charged a private rate by Doctors at this medical centre.
