Drawing on case studies, industry best practices, and scholarly discussions covering a wide range of strategic communication related issues, this unit helps students form an analytical framework that can be used in developing, presenting, and evaluating strategic communication messages and strategies in a rapidly changing communication environment.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Critically evaluate various concepts, theories, and practices relevant to strategic communication;
2. Identify, analyse, and discuss key issues and conflicts that strategic communication raises in a digital society;

This unit introduces students to various sub-fields of strategic communication and enables them to better understand the ways various types of actors and organisations communicate strategically in an increasingly mediated and networked world.

Given that this is a graduate level unit, your active participation is expected. Although attendance is not mandatory, it is very difficult to pass this unit because this unit is based on class discussions and presentations.
