Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE)
It is a requirement that all students in Initial Teacher Education courses complete the LANTITE.
Provision of valid documentation
Please note that the University takes student conduct very seriously. All documentation provided to University staff must be valid and the provision of fraudulent documentation carries with it potentially serious consequences, including suspension and/or exclusion from the University. Note that all allegations of student misconduct will be referred to the Associate Dean for Education (ADE) as a prescribed authority for investigation.
Students must apply academic integrity in their learning and research activities at 黑料网. This includes submitting authentic and original work for assessments and properly acknowledging any sources used.
Academic integrity involves the ethical, honest and responsible use, creation and sharing of information. It is critical to the quality of higher education. Our academic integrity values are honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility and courage.
UC students have to complete the annually to learn about academic integrity and to understand the consequences of academic integrity breaches (or academic misconduct).

Learner engagement
This unit requires accessing the preparatory material on Canvas regularly in order to successfully complete the LANTITE tests.
Participation requirements
Students who are not successful on one or more LANTITE attempts will be required to attend workshops on exam taking strategies and to book for a consultation with Study Skills (Library) and/or the Maths and Statistics Help centre (MASH) in Building 6B. Active engagement with the Modules on the unit Canvas site will be taken into consideration.
Required IT skills
Note that this unit is self-paced. You are required to engage with the material on Canvas independently. Self-directed engagement with the resources on Canvas is crucial for your success in LANTITE.
In-unit costs
Note that Engaging with LANTITE is a shell unit. The University of Canberra does not charge a tuition fee for enrolment in this unit. There is no credit point associated with Engaging with LANTITE (11696). ACER nevertheless charges a fee each time you register and attempt the test. More information regarding costs is available .
